DIY Coffee Creamer

Okay, I'm sharing this but I have to totally admit that my husband and I just determined that we prefer frothed ghee in our coffee.  It's just delicious.  But obviously that is our taste palate.  PLEASE let me know if you want to know more about ghee.  That said, if you like a little bit of sweetness in your coffee, then this recipe is definitely nice.  And natural.  And non-dairy.  


3/4 cup coconut oil, organic (soft but not melted)
1/2 cup raw honey 
1 tsp. cinnamon powder, organic
1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
1 tbsp. cacao powder, organic (optional! - I left it out)

Combine all of the ingredients in a bowl and stir or whisk together until they’re well combined. Store in a glass jar with a sealed lid.

I'll continue to use this until it is gone, and if I need a non-dairy creamer in the future, this will be my go-to.  I think sometimes when we are creating our routine, we become somewhat "addicted" to what we know.  Ghee frothed into coffee is just what our palate knows now.  :-)
